Rough House Turns 20

Posters Party Plenty Michael Pickman-Thoon and Roger Krakow, founders of the well-known Bay Area edit facility Rough House, thank their clients and colleagues while Shad Harris, leader of the Groovenators (left), rocked the house at Slim’s in October. Later, Michael’s daughter Jae astounded the 300-plus crowd with her robust rendering of a couple of tunes. Between the scrumptous snacks, fascinating filmmakers, and scintillating sounds, a good time was had by all. Recognizing the company’s achievements, San Francisco Mayor Gavin Newsom issued an official Proclamation describing Rough House as an important member of the city’s media and designating October 24th as ‘Rough House Day.’
