YERT: License to Thrive
I watched all two hours of this youth-oriented, quirky, optimistic, infectious, crammed-full-of-crucial-environmental-information documentary film, got up off my couch, sat down at this-here computer, checked into “Huffington Post” just before writing this review, and here was the top-of-the-homepage headline:
COLD SWEAT
Study: West Antarctica Warming Almost Twice As Fast As Previously Believed...
'Potentially Drastic Effects On Sea Levels’
All the more reason for you to go to the film’s website ‘Store’ and purchase the DVD – or find some other way to see the movie.
Here’s what you’ll be buying: A one-year journey called “Your Environmental Road Trip” or, “YERT” for short. You will join filmmakers and journeyers Julie Dingman Evans, Mark Evans, and Mark Dixon on their journey through all fifty of these United States of America. They’re travelling to learn more about our environmental maladies and its potential cures. They found plenty of both, and have shared it with us through their film and its website.
If I was a rich man I’d buy you a copy. In lieu of said material wealth, I use these simple words to urge you to see “YERT”.
